Chud Nebula Junior was the First Mate of the Queen Bitch and a promising leader among the crew. Originally a ship builder from Pluto, Chud sought his fortune in the wider Solar System which eventually led him to Titan in 3005, where he came to be employed by Axil Energy and join the crew of the Queen Bitch.

History

Chud Nebula Junior was born to Chud Nebula Senior and his wife on Pluto, the true backwater of the Solar System. Chud worked on the maintenance and construction of interstellar capable vessels his entire life, just as many of his ancestors had. At the dawn of the 31st century, the improvements to Kimber Drives and the efficiency of the very vessels that were the lifeblood of Pluto inadvertently brought about the decline of the planetoid with Neptune becoming a favoured destination for refueling purposes. He worked for the Cronus Guard, as did many other Plutonians under the thumb of the militant Saturnian gang. His friends Gotzon Moogan, Convy Bongo, and Marty Bobson were great comfort to him during his time working such a tedious job.

Chud Nebula's life changed abruptly in 3004 with one bad day. Chud and his friends were checked on by their manager, who found their performance underwhelming. At the advice of Axil Buddy, the manager decided to fire one of the friends; the 'firing' would be quite literal as the ship's rear thruster was brought around to fry Marty. Chud was unwilling to let his friend die, so he decided to intervene by running the manager over with a loader-carrier. Chud's friends and even the present Cronus Guard assisted Chud in killing the morbidly obsese manager. After killing the manager, Chud and his friends made a quick exit. Marty proposed to Gotzon in the elevator down to Pluto, and the pair ran off to Mars. The next day, Chud bought a snake-skin jacket and a ticket to Saturn. There, on Titan, Chud was eventually swept up into joining the Placeholder Crew in 3005.

Personality

Chud Nebula Junior possesses a charming personality, and he expresses that through his consistent ability to make others feel valued, comfortable, and special. He is confident but not arrogant, perfectly willing to be subordinate in his role as First Mate under Hurleen Pitstain. He is engaging, socially confident, and empathetic, effortlessly building trust and rapport with Irving Force and others who would normally be more suspicious of the Placeholder Crew. His empathy is felt deeply, especially when seeing another in distress or danger. There is also a deep underlying sense of melancholy inside Chud, something he often keeps wrapped up underneath his "cool" exterior.

Appearance

Chud looks every bit the Plutonian hick, tall with slicked-back black hair. He is clean-shaven with a prominent jaw. Chud is almost never seen without his signature shades and his snake-skin jacket, another expression of his "cool" exterior image. Firearms are also usually on his person, and Chud is well-acquainted with weapons if diplomacy should fail.
