Miranda is a moon of Uranus and administrated as a department under their jurisdiction. Miranda was designated as a preservation area to protect it from industrial developments due to the unique geological features found exclusively upon its surface. Travel to the moon is heavily restricted by both IGSA and the Uranian authorities, with only researchers and select tours permitted to set foot upon it.
