A Turing Boilerplate is a term used to refer to the basic behavioural software coded into all androids, robots and drones which allow them to effectively communicate with humans in a manner indistinguishable to that of a human; in other words, a robot's broad social skills. A Turing Boilerplate is typically coded to be highly modular and compatible with custom operating systems, especially those of Androids, which synchronises a robot's boilerplate with its other functions of motor skills, memory and logic.
The term is named after Alan Turing, the highly influential pioneer of theoretical computer science and so-called father of modern computing, being named particularly after his Turing Test.
