Ichor Gel is a synthetic blood-like material used in all modern androids and some robots, with most most of the former relying on it to function. The gel is multi-purpose, and is designed primarily to be housed within synthetic skeletons and muscle systems; It is electrically conductive, acts as a muscle and joint lubricant, contains colonies of self-repair nanobots, and regulates temperature (which typically involves cooling).

Ichor Gel is fluorescent yellow and translucent in appearance, becoming completely transparent when spread thinner than a few millimetres, and has a highly slippery, petrol-like consistency.
