If we all become one, why live in a separate body? What makes me separate?

–Phoebe, on the nature of ALIAS

Phoebe Noowin (Martian English: Fiibii Noowin; born Day 298 890 AL, aged 10; Earth equivalent: 25th October 3989 CE, aged 19) is a martian born into a patriotic family of high-tier bureaucrats who by early adulthood became severely alienated by life under the ALIAS regime and found their way into Estefan Behd's circle of revolutionaries after entering university. Phoebe is also an associate of Faber Wayol.

History[edit | edit source]

Phoebe is a Gen-11 Martian child born to the prestigious Blue Algorithm Architects Gila Noowin and Kodan Kaaniman, whose creative and influential life work has seen the infrastructure of Mariner Valley City refined, and has earned them various rights and privileges.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Full of youthful idealism, highly driven, doesn't suffer fools, and has a formidable capacity for argument. As child of Martians working in higher tier positions, Phoebe was permitted to spend much of their childhood at their parents' residence, yet their constant absence forced Phoebe to spend the majority of this time alone and in the company of ALIAS. Phoebe has thus grown to prefer solitude and living life in their own train of thought, finding human company tiring or even confronting. They have no interest in romantic or sexual relationships, and only feel driven to open up to people very similar to themselves.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Phoebe has a highly androgynous figure which they accentuate into a outwardly genderless appearance by their choice of clothes. They have a fair complexion with blue eyes and dark brown - usually dyed - hair, which is kept short with a neatly cut fringe (bangs), with the longest segments of hair flanking their face.
